With less than a minute left in the game, Columbia College guards Tanner Sutton, left, Wendell Crowder, center, and Zach Rockers anxiously watch their teammates on the court againt Hope International Univeristy during the NAIA Division I Men’s basketball championship game Friday, March 15, 2013 at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.  This kind of stuff is why I enjoy shooting sports so much. It’s not about peak action, getting that schweet dunk image, or whatever. I’m not personally invested in sports as a collective thing, but seeing someone biting their shirt and wiping tears from their eyes as their teammate narrowly makes a shot in the last minute of a tied game is just…I dunno. Worth getting emotionally invested in.
